      The details on the memorial for George are almost obliterated, but appear to be as follows:


      "In loving memory of Elizabeth, wife of George Howes who died 15 Dec 1890 aged 76 years. Also of George Howes d. 15 March 1898 aged 79 years. Also of Henry, son of George above who died in India (date) aged 43."


      The last part of the inscription is uncertain - India is very indistinct, the best guess at the date is 2 Sept 1895, and the age is not clear.
